Coming Soon

So many sites with links to more links for writers. Instead, we'd like to provide real resources. These will be free, cool tools for the literary community. Here are a few of the ideas we have in store. Please share your ideas.

Resource guides

How about a series of helpful manuals on a variety of topics? How about all the independent bookstores in Oregon and Washington, their media contacts, and how to book a reading? Or how about the best cafe for writers in Portland or Seattle, based on available space and electrical outlets, food, coffee, noise, ambiance? If you have an idea for a fun, friendly, usable resource guide to help writers or other literary professionals, we'd love to hear from you.

Submission tracker

There are a number of submission tracker tools available, but after using, testing, playing, and paying, we think we might have a better solution. If you need help tracking your sumbissions for articles and short stories, please stay tuned. This will take us into 2009, but we think worth the wait.

Community development

Offline we've been connecting writers with other writers and literary professionals, like editors, agents, and professors. Now we're brewing up some tools to do this in the virtual world. This is essentially what you might expect from Web 2.0 tools, like a forum, online groups and workshops.

Link log

And while these resources percolate, here's our brief version of links to more links... also coming soon.
