Lynn Siprelle

Lynn Siprelle is a mama, a writer, a homeschooler, a web developer, a knitter and a spinner, sometimes all at the same time. She is webmaster for the Dojo and a Dojo member. Lynn has had a love affair with words since she learned to read at age 3.

Though she has worked in TV, radio and print, Lynn prefers the immediacy and intimacy of writing for the web, and has spent the last 15 years building online communities, her own and others. Her main website is The New Homemaker, where she writes about her adventures as mother of the two girls in the picture, Josie and Louisa, and wife of JJ, the guy with the beard. She ran OregonMediaInsiders.com from 2005 to 2009. You can follow Lynn on Twitter @LynnSiprelle.

After a lifetime of writing nonfiction professionally, something broke in Lynn's head in late 2007. She woke up 6 months later having written a novel, which has turned into an ongoing serial and a series of novels published on the web under a pen name.

When she's not writing like a maniac, Lynn is riding her Xtracycle'd Amsterdam bike with JJ, riding herd on the girls, eating, or sleeping. Though sometimes JJ has caught her writing in her sleep, the girls have to knock on her head to get her attention, and there are crumbs in her keyboard.
